Technologies we cover
There are a wide array of technologies that exist in the networking world and we choose to focus on those that will have the greatest impact for our clients who are typically SMB, Mid Sized businesses, Campuses, and Storefronts. This means we focus heavily on Wireless Access Points (WAPs), Routers, Switches, and Gateway technologies. All the things you need to get your network up and running as soon as possible.
Areas of focus:
- Wireless Access Point Installation (WAPs)
- Managed and unmanaged Switches and their setup
- Router installation and setup
- IPS and Firewall devices and their configuration
- Fiber, Cable, and DSL modems
How our process works
As with all things we do being thorough is important to us so we have a robust set of steps we follow with each client to ensure we are translating their needs into the right and most cost effective solutions for their needs. With every network design job we do the following:
-
Free Client Consultation
We first sit down with our clients to get a firm grasp of what they need from their network. Throughout the process we work with them making suggestions to help improve the robustness and security of their network.
-
Project Estimate
After we have a complete understand of the project requirements our lead network engineers will make a design proposal that includes multiple hardware options, where possible, along with pricing and a timeline and bring up date.
-
Installation and Configuration
This stage of the process always takes some time, especially when working with ISPs to get service to the premises (if this is a necessity). During this process we will be actively configuring and testing the network in different stages.
-
Bring Up and Final Testing
Before the final delivery we will activate the network and test all components in a final test to ensure there are no faults or misconfigurations.
-
Completion Report
Upon delivery of the final network we will provide a thorough completion report detailing the steps we took, access credentials for different pieces of equipment, necessary configuration information, IP Space, and virtual topology maps.
